| The
Nijmegen Proteomics Facility (NPF) is a laboratory spread all over
the campus of the Radboud University Nijmegen. The NPF has equipment
and experience for proteomics activities at its disposal (2D electrophoresis
equipage, Maldi-tof, Seldi-tof and LTQ FTMS (for large scale analysis
of proteins)). |
| The NPF prefers to be involved in the planning of future proteomics projects which will be performed at our facility. A special counter has been established for this purpose. At the moment we can not detail the costs for the analysis and the use of the proteomics equipment. Costs will be variable and depend on whether an experts instruction is needed for the use of the equipment, analyses are done by us or yourself and the amount of machine time and consumables (chemicals, lab disposables) that are required. We work on a non-profit base, costs are calculated such that depreciation and maintenance costs of the machine, renewal of machine parts, purchase of chemicals, database updates, extension of computer-data-storage facilities are proportionally shared by all consumers. |
